チューリップフェスティバル / Tulip Festival

日曜日に、１年に１度行われるチューリップフェスティバルに行ってきました。（場所は、Skagit valleyといって、家から約１時間の場所にあります）最近、サラは『チューリップ』の歌が好きでよく歌い、『きれいね～』と話すようになっていて、すごい数のチューリップを見て、とっても喜んでいました！お約束の、チューリップの歌も、きれいねーもたくさん言って連れていった甲斐があったわ！でも走ってどこにでも行ってしまうので、目が離せません > < 来たのは今回２度目だけど、ここのチューリップの数は規模が違う！！一面の赤のチューリップ、黄色のチューリップ、本当にたくさーんの場所で色とりどりのチューリップやスイセンの花が咲いていて、本当にきれいなのです。帰りには、チューリップを購入して、おうちでもまだ楽しんでいます！

We went to Tulip festival in Skagit valley which is about 1 hour away from our house. Recently Sarah loves sing a song of "Tulip" (Japanese song) and say "Beautiful" when she see beautiful stuff in Japanese so it was great to see lots and lots of Tulip at the festival! She loved it and we had a great time!

We also bought some tulips so we have been enjoying seeing pretty tulip at house too!

ベービーシャワー/ Baby Shower

先週の土曜日は以前働いていた会社の同僚に、今日は、ママ友たちに、Baby showerをしてもらいました。日本では出産後にお祝いをしてもらうのが普通ですが、こちらでは出産前のBaby showerが多いようです。

お友達がたくさんの料理を持ち寄ってくれて、そして手作りのケーキ、ダイパー（おむつ）で作ったケーキ、その中にたくさんのお祝いが入っていたりしてたくさんのお祝いをいただきました。（お祝いの品は、私がこれがほしいとお店に行って登録した中から購入してくれました。）

今度は男の子の予定なので、色も緑や青、サラのときとは違った感じの服、本当に助かるし、そういうお祝いをみんながしてもらえるってことがとっても幸せなことだなぁって感謝です。

出産予定日まであと１ヶ月、元気に産まれてきてくれることを祈るばかりです。

My ex-co workers threw my baby shower last Sat. and also Mommy's group threw baby shower today for us. They brought lots of delicous food and one of my friend made pretty baby cake and had a great time. They also got a lots of gift for us too. It is very thanksful that they threw the party for us and celebrate for us.

We are looking forward to seeing baby...

こちらはみな元気にしています。地震のニュースをTVで見ては本当に辛く、被災者の人たちが気の毒で、そして原発の心配をしています。名古屋は離れてるとはいえ、こちらでニュースを見ていると本当に心配になります。早く状況がよくなるといいと心から祈るばかりです。遠くからで何もできないけど、できることを少しでもしていければと思います。 サラは、元気いっぱいです。Mommyは臨月だけど、容赦なし・・・いつも遊びたいばかりなので、公園につれていったり、お友達と遊んだりと楽しく過ごしています。最近は、アンパンマンをお絵かきするのが大好きです。（Mommyが上達してるんだけど・・、サラは○を書くのが上手です（笑） 最近さぼってたブログだけど、またUpdateしていきたいと思います！ We are all fine here in Seattle. We just concerned about earthquake. We have been watching TV news since it happend and sorry for the people over there and worried about nuclear power. We just wish the things get better sooner. We are far from there and can not do too much but we'll try our best to something what we can do. Sarah is very fine! She loves going out and play with other kids and stuff even Mommy has big stomach (8 months) :) She loves drawing too. Mommy is drawing for Sarah's request so Mommy is getting improved:) Sarah is getting better and better too!

サンディエゴ旅行3日目 / San Diego trip day 3

サンディエゴ３日目、本当はビーチに直行する予定でしたが、昨日見そびれた”イルカショー”を見にSea worldへもう一度行きました。ラッキーなことにホテルから約１０分の距離だったので、簡単に移動ができました。そのイルカショー、行った甲斐がありました。本当に楽しいショーでサラはずーっと”WOWワォー””すごい”（私たちの真似だろうけどね）っていってました。拍手したりして楽しそうでニコニコでした。後は、昨日はサラがお昼寝して見れなかった、ペンギンと白熊さんを見に行きました。Sea worldは大人が行っても楽しいところでまた行きたいって思うようなところだった！ この日はお天気も最高！26度くらいまで上がって超晴天、サンディエゴ最高だぁ！ Sea worldの次には、Hotel Del Conaldへ。このホテルは高級で有名。趣があって素敵なホテルだった。もちろん泊まれないので（笑）海岸沿いのホテルのレストランへ♪ハンバーガーとツナサンドを食べた。おいしかったし、ビーチが見れて景色もGoodだったよ～！ この後は、ビーチへLet's go！準備していったワンワンとウータンのお砂場セットで遊んだ後は、Daddyと海の中へ、お水は超超冷たいのに、サラはずーっと水の中でDaddyと遊んでて散々遊んだにもかかわらず帰りたくなくって”No no no no no"って言ってました。近くの人には”やっと帰ってこれた（笑）って言われるし、だって水から離れたところに連れ戻してもすぐに、走って水のところに行っちゃってたからね～。 夜は、別の日本食の居酒屋へ。サラは博多ラーメンをたくさん食べて満足そうでした。 サンディエゴは、気候もよいし、広いし、なんてったってリゾートな感じ、どこもかしこもやしの木がたくさんで雰囲気も最高。とってもいい家族旅行になりました。

Back to Sea World! We went back to Sea World on Saturday because we weren't able to see the Dolphin show on Friday. The show was really great! It was worth going back for sure. We got some souvenirs for Sarah and left for Hotel Del Coronado. It's one of the most famous places to visit in San Diego. We had lunch there right by the beach. The food was very good and the hotel and view were beautiful. We all went to the beach and Sarah loved it. Sarah and Daddy stood in the water for a long time and Sarah was screaming she was so excited. She didn't want to leave. Mommy went in the water too but only for a few minutes because the water was too cold for her :) After that we went back to the room and went out to dinner again at a Japanese restaurant. We went to a different one than the night before. It was also very good and Sarah ate a lot of soyubeans again. I didn't know she loved them so much. She also ate a lot of Ramen. She always loves noodles. We went to ice cream again but we probably shouldn't have because we were all too full after it. On the way home Sarah fell asleep. It's the earliest she's ever fallen asleep!! We packed too come on home while Sarah was sleeping comfortably. It was a wonderful family vacation! Our next one will be with 2 kids!

サンディエゴ旅行2日目 / San Diego trip day 2

２日目は、メインイベントの”Sea world"へ！１０時に到着し、はりきってGo!サラも楽しいところだとわかったのか、とっても元気でした。シャチ、ラッコ、カメ、本当にたくさんのかわいい動物たちがいました。アシカには、餌もあげ、イルカには触ることもできて超満足。この日は、”シャチ”と”アシカ”ショーを見ました。イルカのショーが今日はなく、明日あることが判明・・・そして、翌日このショーを見るためにまた来ることになりました。（６日間有効チケットでよかった（笑）サラは、イルカとシャチのショーが特に好きだったみたい。シャチのショーでは、じーっと見て、また同じものを見たい時には、『more』（もっと）、そして指を１本（もう１回って意味）と何度も言って楽しんでました！イルカは、触ることができたけど、サラは臆病者なので、近くに来ると逃げてたけど、指をさして喜んでました！夜ご飯は、日本料理の居酒屋へ！サラが食べるものがあるので安心していけるって理由で行ったけど、おいしかったし、実は自分たちも満足できたよ～！帰り際には”アイスクリーム屋さんへ”ラッキーなことにナビで見つけたお店が大当たり、有名人が来るほど人気のホームメイドのアイスクリーム屋さんでとってもおいしかったです。 We went to Sea world 2 day!We saw Shamu and the Sea Lions show. We also saw the dolphins up close and got to touch them. Sarah loved it but she was too scared to touch them. We were there all day. We went to dinner at a Japanese restaurant that we found online. The food was great and not too pricey. Sarah ate a million soybeans:) Then we went to an ice cream place that we found on out GPS. It was actually one of the most famous ice cream places in San Diego. It was delicious and the owner was very friendly. We sat at the small kid's table. Sarah reeeeally loved the ice cream (of course)! By the time we got to the hotel Sarah was so tired and she slept so easily. It was a great day!

サンディエゴ旅行１日目 / San Diego trip day 1

3/2-3/6の日程でサンディエゴに家族旅行に行ってきました。Baby Boyが５月に産まれたらきっとまたばたばたするだろうからね。 早朝６時の飛行機に乗ってサンディエゴまで３時間のフライト、サラは朝早かったのにすっかり起きちゃってて飛行機ではDVDを見てました。 ９時に、サンディエゴに到着し、レンタカーを借りてまずは、ランチをしに”Luigi"へ、ここはいつも見ているTV（'Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives)：いろいろなレストランを紹介するTV)でおいしそうって思ったイタリアン系のピザのお店。TVで言ってた通りのすっごくおいしいPizzaでした。４枚こんな大きくって１１ドルだったよ～。この後は、近くの公園でサラを遊びにつれていき、それからホテルへ！ポイントでマリオットに泊まりました。なかなかいい場所で、きれいでした。ホテルについてすぐに、ホテルのプールへ！サラはプールが大好きなので、ずーっと遊んでたかったようです。プールのとなりに、温水のところもあったので後はぬくぬくしてました。 ディナーは、地元の自家製ビール＆有機野菜を使ったレストランへ行ったんですが・・・・サラは疲れが一気にでたのか、超ご機嫌ななめ・・こんなに泣くの見たことないくらいだったんで、オーダーはしたものの、お持ち帰りにてホテルで食べる羽目に・・・・。仕方ない・・こういうこともあるさ・・・。 そして１日目はすぎていきました。 We went on Vacation to San Diego 3/2-3/6. Our Flight was early at 6 and 3 hours flight but Sarah was awake almost whole time. We arrived at there at 9 and picked up the rental car. We went to Luigi's pizzeria which we found out about from Diners Drive In's and Dives. It was really good pizza. 4 big pieces and only $11! We went to park after that and went to Hotel!Sarah loved pool and wanted to stay long time :) We went out for dinner to a nice restaurant but Sarah cried the whole time. She never does that! Maybe she was tired...poor Sarah! we had to eat in our hotel room. First day passed like that....

ひな祭り / Girl's day

今日は、3/2日本ではひな祭り。うちでも、両親からサラに買ってもらった雛人形を飾っています。 とってもかわいいので、サラはずーっと見ていて、すごーくすごーく触りたがるけど、ちょうど上の棚に飾れたため雛人形は安全です（笑）明日から、サンディエゴへの旅行のため、今日お祝いをしました。 ご飯はすし太郎だけど、サラのだけはちょっとバージョンUpしたよ♪ It is March 2nd today, Usually girls day (Hinamatsuri) celebrate on March.3rd in Japan but We are leaving to San Diego for vacation tomorrow so we celeblated 1 day early this year! Mommy's parents bought Hinaningyou for Sarah it is so pretty! She loves it!
